About the artist
Mauricio Alejo hails from Mexico City. After studying art on a Fulbright scholarship, Alejo devoted himself to still-life photography, developing his dedicated, object-related photographic idiom that tackles the phenomena of appearance, being and reality. His unique, conceptual style and friendly, dedicated demeanor endear him to clients around the globe, and he has presented his work at numerous exhibitions - in his native Mexico, the United States, Europe, and Japan. His art has evolved from still photography to include fascinating moving images that bear Alejo's aesthetic.
